Several hundred citizens and activists gathered on Sunday at the final convention of the Move-Change Movement. The candidate for mayor of Belgrade from the "Go-change" list, Savo Manojlović, called on citizens to go to the polls and - if they don't like his program, vote for any opposition list because "turnout is the key to change."
He emphasized that only by turning out for the elections scheduled for June 2, citizens can prevent fraud and election theft.
Manojlović said that in Novi Sad, "the opposition is smarter because there they did not split up and everyone goes to the elections unitedly".
While Aleksandar Anđelković, a member of the Belgrade team of the Kreni-Promeni movement, was speaking, two citizens threw eggs at the stage, and Manojlović said on the occasion of that incident that "those throwing eggs are those who are not allowed to appear on televised duels".
In Belgrade, the police arrested a young man who threw eggs at the participants of the Move-Change Movement convention near the Terazije fountain.
As FoNet's reporter reports, the man fled into Bezistan Pass, sat on a scooter, and the police arrived and arrested him at Nikola Pašić Square.
