Serbian citizen surrendered police on Wednesday (June 3rd) morning in Dortmund after he wounded a police officer and barricaded himself in the house with his children.
After the all-night drama, the police confirmed that the children are fine. Previously, the situation was treated as a hostage crisis, according to Bild.
The man, who is said to be 51 years old and a Serbian citizen, left the building at 3:30 a.m. and surrendered peacefully.

It all started when the suspect's wife called the police on Tuesday (June 2) evening.
The man first shot at the policemen, and then locked himself in the apartment where his three daughters aged 7, 10 and 12 were also. The wife was also allegedly in the apartment.
The policeman was only slightly injured thanks to his body armor.
Outbursts at the restaurant?
Bild previously reported that on Tuesday night, a man and a friend went on a rampage in a restaurant, attacking guests with a bat and using pepper spray.
Also according to Bild, the perpetrator was in contact with his parents during the drama.
