All of them gave their word that they will perform their duties as mayors honorably, impartially, conscientiously and in accordance with the law, and with the conspicuous presence of symbols of Kosovo's statehood such as Kosovo's flags.
Marko Jakšić, a member of the Civic Initiative "North for All" demanded that the plainclothes police leave the meeting in North Mitrovica.
Siniša Lazić, who presided over that session, said that they are reacting to it and that only invited people will be present in the hall, and they are not members of the Kosovo police.

But nothing happened. After that, councilors and the mayor took the oath.
The solemn declaration was read by Lazić, and councilors and mayors stood without repeating the text. Finally, they signed the documents.
Among the councilors in the municipality is Aleksandar Arsenijević, who has not been in Kosovo for months.
