As reported by the N1 reporter, they are afraid of what will happen to the houses located along the railway line. The citizens also announced that they will organize a larger gathering next week, when they will block this part of the city.
"We were waiting for the mayor to ask him what would happen to our houses. I watched the video afterwards, he said that not a single house was being demolished, except for one. But then I found out that the whole row was being demolished," said a local woman to N1.
As the locals previously said, they expected the mayor and the president of Pantelei Municipality to visit this place. Numerous cameras were at the stadium of OFK Nis, as well as a representative of the investor who is building the ring road and who, as we have learned, is donating to the local club whose stadium is next to the railway.
N1 tried to ask questions about the plans, but the investor's representative did not answer the questions.
"He didn't want to answer anything, practically - we shouldn't have been there," said a local woman who also tried to get answers from the investor.
