Signing up children u Belgrade kindergartens through the e-Government portal started today and will last until May 17. At the moment, slightly more than 14.000 vacancies are available, said Aleksandra Čamagić, city secretary for education and child protection. The final ranking list is expected at the beginning of July, reports RTS.
Parents who, due to work, cannot fit into the working hours of preschool institutions and submit documents, will be able to do so in a few steps.
On the e-Administration portal, by starting the e-kindergarten service, they will fill out a form, and bringing a birth certificate, proof of residence and employment is not necessary, because the data is accessed automatically.
Aleksandra Čamagić, city secretary for education and child protection, told RTS that enrollment in kindergartens is open throughout the year and that at the moment there are slightly more than 14.000 vacant places.
"This is just one moment when a cross-section is made considering that the working year lasts until August 31 and we can already see how many new places we will have at that moment," says Čamagić.
She announced the opening of new kindergartens in the coming months.
"In the nearest period, we will open a large kindergarten in Obrenovac, we are expecting the opening of a new kindergarten in Mladenovac, so we are constantly increasing the numbers," said Čamagić.
Enrollment of children in Belgrade kindergartens will last until May 17, and preliminary lists are expected by mid-June.
