To the premises of the company D Express, which is owned by the United Group and provides door-to-door courier delivery services, on Thursday around 20:1, members of the Criminal Police Administration and the Tax Police broke in. They said that they came because of "certain irregularities in the company's work", reports NXNUMX.
The search lasted for hours, and the police officers, according to eyewitnesses, did not show the court order.
The intervention of the police was preceded by reports in certain pro-regime media that allegedly D Express and some other private companies were "responsible for the postmen's strike", that they, for some of their supposed interests, were encouraging it.
Vučić knows who is to blame
The tone was set by the President of the Republic of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, who ruled that the postmen who are still on strike should not be guided by the interests of the Post Office workers at all, but by the interests of "some other company".
According to Beta, the postmen who did not accept Vlada Vučić's offer were accused of being "politically organized".
"You have 500 or 1000 of them who are politically organized, and you have to put up with that part, and it's okay for someone to fight for the interests of another company," Vučić said on November 16, without specifying which company he was referring to.
And for the "group" that accepted the Government's offer, he said that they are "honorable and responsible and honest people."
Manufacturing untruth
The United Group announced that the Government, which "threatened the existence of the employees of the public company Pošta Srbije with its incompetent management", decided to "abuse" the state institutions to deal with the United Group and use the Crime Suppression Service of the Criminal Police Administration, trying to call for a strike in JP The post office blames the company D Express.

In the press release, the police raid is called "savage", the search "unfounded", and the crime prevention services are accused of having as their goal "fabrication of falsehoods" that the courier service D Express is to blame for the strike of Post Office workers, with which it has nothing to do.
"Due to the damage caused to our company and the public deception of the citizens of Serbia, we will be forced to file lawsuits with the judicial authorities," the statement of United Group points out.
Inappropriate violation of the law
Attorney Zdenko Tomanović told N1 that the procedure for the entry of the Criminal Police Administration and the Tax Police into the premises of the D Express company is not in accordance with the law, because they came outside of working hours, spent almost seven hours in the company and did not leave a single document.
"The actions of the police were not in accordance with the law, it is an inappropriate violation of the law." Employees were effectively denied freedom of movement. "They will have to explain why they did it and on whose orders, because they didn't think they should announce it when they arrived at the company's premises," Tomanović pointed out.
He believes that in this case "there are no coincidences", that this is "absolute redirection of problems from the Post Office to other companies".
The member of the board of "D Express" Ljiljana Ahmetović told N1 that there is no legal basis for the intrusion of the Criminal Police Department (UKP) and the Tax Police into the company's premises.
She also said that "the situation that is currently happening with the Post does not suit any private courier service, and therefore neither D Express" is that even if all of them join together they cannot take over the number of shipments that are currently at a standstill due to the Post strike.
