On Wednesday (August 20), just before 17 p.m., in front of the premises United groups Bishop Tintor appeared in Zoran Đinđić Boulevard and introduced himself as the new director of the NGO in Serbia, reports N1.
Since the security had no information about it, they asked for additional confirmations, after which the police came at the invitation of his lawyers. By the way, the lawyers accompanying Tintor are from the Gecić Law Office, which, among other things, represents Telekom Srbija.
The police concluded that there was no reason to intervene and then withdrew.
By the way, soon numerous media teams of pro-regime media came in front of the premises of the United Group.
It is not known why Tintor came unannounced to the headquarters of his company, i.e. whether the previous director was aware of her replacement and his appointment and arrival, nor whether the other senior managers of the companies within the United Group that operate in Serbia and have their headquarters at the same address were aware of it, writes Nova ekonomija.
Bishop Tintor was enrolled on Wednesday morning in APR as the director of UG. By the way, Tintor was the director of RATEL until 2020.
The New Economy: United Group in Turmoil
United Group is currently in great turmoil, after it sold SBB and Sportklub in Serbia and fired the president of the company's Advisory Board. Dragan Šolak, who is also the company's founder and minority owner, writes The new economy.
The conflict between Šolak and the majority shareholders of the United Group, the investment fund BS Partners, broke out over the 200 million euros that belonged to Šolak as a commission for the sale of operations in Serbia, as part of the contractual clause with the United Group, whose former general director Victoria Bocklag was also fired at the same time as Šolak.
After that, a large number of United Group managers expressed their dissatisfaction with these decisions, with public letters and resignations, mutual lawsuits between the company and its minority owner and founder, and negative articles in the world media.
As far as is known, the appointment of Tintor is the first high-level personnel change in Serbia since the sale of SBB and Sportklub.
