In a solemn statement, the newly elected Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski, like all ministers, called his country by the constitutional name "Northern Macedonia", which was agreed upon in the Prespa Agreement with Greece.
"I will perform the function of prime minister conscientiously and responsibly and I will respect the Constitution and laws of the Republic of North Macedonia," said the new prime minister and leader of the conservative VMRO DPMNE.
Mickoski, at the end of the two-day debate, promised that his government "will raise standards already in the first 100 days, that it will work hard and make sure that the country changes, that it moves forward, that it will respect the citizens and that it will be responsible."

The opposition criticized the composition of the new government
The opposition MPs criticized the program and composition of the new government, and MP Sanja Lukarevska of the Social Democratic Union of Macedonia (SDSM) compared Mickoski's exposé with the exposé of his predecessor at the head of VMRO DPMNE and former Macedonian Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski in 2006, stating that "almost everything is the same, only he is not there." There are 20 men and three women in Hristijan Mickoski's government, the average age of government members is 47 years - the oldest is 66 years old, and the youngest is 33 years old.
