Two fast cars collide the train collided on Monday before noon in Eastern Slovakia, dozens of passengers were injured, and two of the injured are in critical condition, officials announced.
The accident happened near the town of Rožnjava after 10 a.m. local time, Slovak authorities announced railways, and AP writes.
Slovak police said it was estimated that there were about 80 passengers on the trains, but did not provide further details.
The police said that the collision happened in front of the tunnel and that the passengers are gradually leaving the trains.
It was stated that the police are securing the place accidents, coordinates the work of rescue services and directs the movement of people in the area.

Minister of Interior Affairs Slovakia's Matus Šutaj Eštok said that two of the injured are in critical condition, while the other injuries are not serious.
Footage from the scene of the incident shows that the front of one train was badly damaged, while the other train derailed.
The authorities launched an investigation into the cause of the accident, and Minister Šutaj Eštok suggested that human error could be the cause.
Radio and Television of Serbia it announced, referring to the Slovak portal TA3, that "at least 100 people" were injured in the accident.
It was stated that the trains collided at the intersection of the two tracks.
