The management of Denver also respected that Jokić did not get adequate teammates for the highest ranges in any transition period and that only Eron Gordon was chosen.
The management of Denver, led by the Kronkey family, decided that until the end of the Nuggets' season, David Adelman, the former assistant, will lead the team.
"The decision we made was not an easy one, and it was made very carefully and with the intention of allowing the organization to fight for another NBA title this season," Denver said in a statement.
