The elderly are the most vulnerable in traffic
Unfortunately, the elderly are among the most vulnerable road users.
That is why the authorities constantly appeal to them to be careful in traffic and aware of their possibilities.
On average, more than 160 people over the age of 65 die in traffic accidents in Serbia every year. They most often lose their lives as pedestrians or cyclists.
Among the elderly, the most tired are those who have poor vision and hearing.
The police advise this population of citizens to apply the principle of "see and be seen", i.e. to wear bright and visible colors in order to be noticed, as well as to properly participate in traffic.
