The aesthetics of Zemunac and Zemunka can best be seen in the pictures from the business trips of Duce Spasojević and his associates around the white world. People who started to invest millions of dollars in bilateral cooperation with the fraternal and friendly Colombia walk around Paris apparently blissfully in slippery tracksuits, hoodies and sneakers, as if they were in Surcin, in Chumet's cafe in Cotobanja, tucking their t-shirts under the tracksuit bottoms and not feeling is strange. Simple clothing - unfortunately! - is not a criminal offense, otherwise Bagzi and the other (surviving) cooperating witnesses would have something to say in court. If they had been a little more careful about their clothing, it might have been more difficult for the French police to identify them; like this, a dispatch from Belgrade saying: "Keep the diesels in slippery tracksuits, with golden kilts and cruisers." The only concession was a work jacket, a black "Spitfire" from the Alfa boutique: the whole "Heckler" still fits under it und Koch" and spare cartridges, in addition to the standard pistols.
Their women also stick to recognizable fashion: the role model is what the children in Belgrade call "pinkusha jay". So high and thin heels are a must; then cleavage, tight jeans and as much gold as possible. Regular visitors to the Special Court are already used to those scenes. The court guard, strict with journalists when it comes to dressing in good weather, calmly let the Zemunkas in golden sandals with no toes and huge heels pass by; some (Aleksandra Ivanović, Legijinica) also enter the official entrance, from the yard, to the horror of judges and prosecutors.
Possible scientific studies in the field of Zemun anthropology, unfortunately passed into the domain of archeology with the demolition of the famous building in Schillerova. Too few visual documents about that site have been preserved, but the lawsuit filed by the widow Spasojević and the widow Luković against the state indicates that an invaluable archaeological treasure was lost: mosaics, artistic paintings, artifacts of various kinds, all worth the monetary equivalent of half a ton of heroin (cut). . An insight into the paintings and other artefacts would be of immense help to art historians, but, alas, this is now impossible. A less nervous government would have made Schiller's a museum of the Zemun clan, so let the children watch; in any case, Zemun culture is dominant in this society.
With the very peaks of such a culture there were certain problems, as we shall see.
BLACK CZECH, WHAT WE WILL SAD?: It has always been known that Svetlana, the widow Ražnatović and Dušan Duća Spasojević were in close and friendly relations. We heard in court that Duća and Ceca made up an alibi for one of the assassination attempts on Zoran Đinđić. Now Bagzi also told that Svetlana, Ražnatović's widow, Duća practically "tipped" the owner of TV Pink Željko Mitrović for the kidnapping: "He's a full ship... He takes out money in sacks", etc. That typing was later explained as "inadvertent" in certain tabloids. Involuntarily or not, everything points to the fact that the widow Ražnatović routinely had detailed conversations with her friends from Zemun on various topics. She herself will declare that she thought it was better to be closer, than further, when it comes to such people: better to be on friendly terms with them, than to worry if they will kidnap her children for ransom; Here's how Brenna and Boba had a good time...
No matter how practical and useful such an attitude was (a million on a loan without interest, hey!), Željko Mitrović had no understanding for a caring mother. When the fight broke, he took Ceca off Pink, thus sacrificing one of the most successful joint venture operation on stage ever. Raznatovićka now denies that she ever talked to Zemunci about Željko's money, but somehow they don't believe her; she also gave up her other Stanislava Čocoroska, but only when they caught half a ton of coca. The drama is terrible, but you don't need to worry too much about the actors: neither Ceca will fail without Pink, nor Pink will be poor for the lack of Ceca, nor will this fight last forever: they are human, they will settle. And Ceca won't be alone either: she has her other Legijinica, Dućinica and others...
And in the team of those whom the tabloids call "guys from the asphalt" when listing Ceca's emotional and social relationships, Ico Mateković has now joined: we all thought that on March 11, 2003, he came to see Boško Jović from the JSO (now in the Gendarmerie ) to finish some serious work, while he went to Ceci's party...
KO JE TU CHIEF?: He told Bagza another anthropologically (but also criminally) interesting story: they kidnapped that one Sandžakli and barely got 350.000 euros for him (they misjudged him). They divided it brotherly and honestly, bit by bit, and took Legija's 175.000 euros home to the Film City. And Legija then says that it goes to the "boss": Mrs. Aleksandra Ivanovic picks up the money from the table and takes it away. Bagzi does not say whether Mrs. Ivanovic asked where she got so much money from (okay now: they got 175 soms and it's not a lot of money, but still); any normal wife would ask her husband where the money is coming from now. Legija and Duća didn't write computer programs for Microsoft, did they? As far as is known - they are not. That episode is doubly interesting: anthropologically, because it is another proof that a false patriarchy reigns in the Balkans; criminal, because it indicates the active role of Aleksandra Ivanovic in the affairs of her husband and his partners. It is interesting that both of these widows, Dućinica and Kumovica, who are suing the state for six million euros of heroin couples beaten into that house in Schillerova (not to mention the pictures...) do not have any problem with the origin of the property, neither does Legijinica. One would say that their husbands were English lords and landowners, not skorojevics and street thugs who got their hands on heroin and kidnapping, so they started. Pick up Aleksander those 175 soms without blinking an eye...
This circumstance of active participation in the affairs is confirmed by another testimony of Bagzi: Mrs. Ivanović was actively involved in the same joint venture of persuading Dejan Milenković Bagzi to testify falsely, with lawyers Slobodan Milivojević, Biljana Kajganić and some other persons previously known to the prosecuting authorities.
Now a special police task force is working to verify Bagzi's allegations before the court, so it is to be hoped that those circumstances will also be clarified.
INTERHUMAN RELATIONSHIPS: Every civilization, including Zemun's, carries social cohesion factors and sociometric rules; in short - who is in charge and other supporting details concerning the food chain. Here we have a case known as cohabitation: Duća and Zemunci on the one hand, and Legion, JSO and State Security on the other, and all in - as they say today - symphony, that is unity around a common goal - money and power. Duća Spasojević maintained discipline among his people with an iron hand and political skill: on the one hand, he kept them under surveillance and in a network of intrigues and mutual suspicions; on the other hand, he killed anyone he suspected without thinking and in convincing ways. Now and then he would beat one of them, just to show that he was serious. The Legion had already organized its unit according to the recipe of the French Foreign Legion and the Serbian Volunteer Guard of its friend and role model Arkan: execute and don't ask, taste and listen, otherwise... It is known that some members of the JSO lost their heads in a particularly cruel way and that those cases were never clarified, after all, even though it was about members of the MUP.
According to the civil society, i.e. the rest of the world, the people of Zemun and JSO had a predatory attitude towards food: superior and contemptuous. And how could they not, when behind them was the State Security, whose identification cards they were carrying? Well, the ordinary police weren't even allowed to look at them.
It went like this: the artists sat down and considered who to kidnap, because they ran out of cash. Milija Babović is handsome, and they also spread the story among the policemen that it was debt collection, because Babović, as a Peugeot lifeguard for the police, did well... Miroslav Mišković is even better: full as a ship... Vuk Bajrušević has money... And so on. It is done well, and the Legion and its members provide intelligence, technical and counter-intelligence support. The money is taken, the Legion takes half, and before that he offers to comfort and help the family of the abducted person. And in the end, he also took Milija Babović to Šilerova and introduced him to the guys who tried to rescue him... The Legion is everywhere: it comforts the grieving families of the abducted and checks from the helicopter whether the ransom money in the bag is properly left where it should be, that it is not maybe marked and not followed by the police. Friendship, as it was said a long time ago, is the oldest craft. So, as he treated the families of the kidnapping victims, he also treated his accomplices in the end: he said, "Shit, I'm going," and disappeared in the direction of Grud.
They sat Duća and Legija as pashas in Schiller's and received audiences from various bazaar characters: some would take a loan with interest (sweet); others would link to this or that (expensive, bro!); third would like to agree on the protection of investments (useful); the fourth to be incorporated into the business (we'll see); the fifth would like to see if there is any political benefit from Excessive Affection (nice); the sixth would be to be admitted into the Presence, as long as it is known that they were there (that's good). And everyone cared the most that Sretko Kalinić, a beast of a man and a pleasure killer, would not deal with them one day. The position is phenomenal, equal to that of Ivan the Terrible and Stalin; you can do anything and everything is allowed to you, and it's raining.
And then some prime minister gets really tough to disperse us and arrest us! Out of pure pizama and pasjaluka to ruin our jobs that bring us a cold thirty to fifty soms of euros per week! And still found that "peasant girl" (Legija dixit) It's a shame that we didn't sing it when we could!
Well, that's where the great game begins, the development of which we witnessed while listening to Bagzi in court, and the end of which is not yet fully visible. Namely, Legija Ulemek and Duća Spasojević started looking around and looking for allies, aware that the circle of the police and the BIA was tightening around them. Aligning themselves according to the political coordinates given at the time (2003), they played as only they could politically. It is not yet known how much they succeeded. It is known, however, that they tried hard. The same campaign of gaining politically natural allies was continued by Legija and his wife and lawyers.councilors of the Zemun clan and JSO all the time: from the assassination attempt at the Limes hall, through Legija's surrender, Bagzi's extradition and all the time of the trial of the conspirators for the murder of Zoran Đinđić. Bagzi's testimony shed a more precise light on that stinking story and now it is in the hands of the police and the Special Prosecutor; there is enough evidence and knowledge that certain criminal acts have been committed.
