"Irrevocable resignation" - the devil in words
It's nice when the people also deal with the language. Let's talk about what "resignation" means in the case of Željko Obradović and how important it is whether or not it is "irrevocable".

At the beginning, the propaganda and security camp in Pionirski Park was a place for "students who want to learn", and now Vučić calls it the "island of freedom". It turns out that the government is starting to liberate the state. From whom? Well, I guess from students and citizens, no one else
The propaganda and security camp in Pionirski Park looks like it will stay there forever. This week's revival of that area followed the attempt of Dijana Hrka, the mother of one of the victims of the falling canopy in Novi Sad, to start her hunger strike on the plateau in front of the Parliament in order to get justice.
Formed in the early spring before the large citizen-student protest in Belgrade on March 15, 2025, that settlement further expanded and formed an inner courtyard between the buildings of the Presidency of Serbia, the City Assembly and the House of Assembly building.
In those buildings and courtyards live the regime and, in turn, those who depend on the government - employees in the public sector and public enterprises, criminals, hooligans, drug dealers, members of the government and the top of the ruling party. They are there to save something. As to what it is, there has been speculation ever since the creation of this unsanitary settlement in the very heart of the capital of Serbia.
The answer to this question came several times from the very top of the government, and that's where you can see what the purpose of Ćaciland is. "We will not allow the construction of Maidan 2", was repeated so many times. What does that mean? It is easy to determine that the vast majority of people are completely unaware of what is meant when these words are uttered by Aleksandar Vučić, Miloš Vučević or the Russian secret service.
According to what has been seen, heard and understood so far, Ćaciland is a formation that was supposed to serve the regime to get rid of the fear of taking over the most important institutions in Serbia. Also to make a "Maidan" himself before others find out.
The regime was confused from the beginning of the student protests and did not know exactly what was happening and in what way. At the very beginning, they didn't pay too much attention, but when the movement developed and spread to all universities in Serbia by mid-December, it was clear to them that something was up. When they saw during the winter what the students had organized and how much support they had among the people, they probably started thinking about how to oppose it. Now it can be seen that it occurred to Vučić and his team to create the ultimate superblockade in the place where large protests have always taken place in Serbia. The very existence of Ćaciland shows the extent of Vučić's fear of those who do not support his regime gathering on the plateau in front of the Assembly.
Thus, the security assessment of Vučić and his associates led to the largest civil protest in the history of Belgrade - the one on March 15 - being held at Slavia, and then dispersed by the use of sound weapons that were activated from the city center.
The second level of creation of Ćaciland is propaganda: in the beginning it was a place for "students who want to learn", and now Vučić calls it "island of freedom". It turns out that the government is starting to liberate the state. From whom? Well, I guess from students and citizens, no one else. However, the regime did not give up on "preventing the Maidan", and all as part of the "colored revolution". It seems that Vučić personally "noticed" how it was being prepared at an early stage and then with decisive action prevented its realization.
Maidan, a square in Kyiv, became famous for EuroMaidan - the events that took place there from November 2013 to February 2014, in which pro-European Ukraine overthrew the power of pro-Russian President Viktor Yanukovych. That should be something good and positive for Serbia, which is formally a candidate for joining the European Union.
However, since Vučić's electorate is pro-Putin oriented and he has cultivated this narrative for decades, he has turned a major event in the history of Ukraine into the opposite. So, in the worst time that has happened to that country and people. And now, when you look at what Čatsiland and its inhabitants represent, it is clear that it is support for pro-Putin's Russia and the "struggle" not to deviate from that path.
In the context of today's geopolitics, this becomes even more important because it shows what the political course that Vučić really is. This means that from Ćaciland, as "RuskoMajdan", he would fight for Greater Serbia under Russian patronage. He does not want Serbia to ever enter the EU, nor to be a part of the normal and law-governed world. Vučić simply established himself in that mini map of Greater Serbia and says that he will never give up.

It's nice when the people also deal with the language. Let's talk about what "resignation" means in the case of Željko Obradović and how important it is whether or not it is "irrevocable".

Many fans announced "the end of Partizan". Or because in the departure of Željko Obradović, he saw the overthrow of the regime, or because the club that leaves its greatest legend loses its moral right to exist. It is the title theme of the new "Time"

Željko Obradović is no longer the coach of "Partizan". He left because he couldn't do it anymore, and with words that leave no room for club president Ostoja Mijailović to do anything but resign. The fans did not wait to hear "an ancient dream". How one man became more than basketball and how it came to an inglorious end

What happens when the dams around the Pionirski Park break and hordes of people pour into cities in Serbia where local elections are held? We saw that last weekend in Mionica, Negotin and Sečnje. This is not a text about local elections, nor about the results, because there were essentially no elections that day. All we saw was lawlessness, terror, the suspension of law and the state, and the general rule of thugs and thugs in black caps. Also a new phase of repression that is even stronger and more irrational

The Serbian Progressive Party cannot and will not call parliamentary elections anytime soon. The reason is simple - if this is how it went in Mionica, Sečnje, Kosjerić and Zaječar, in small areas where it traditionally has the strongest infrastructure and the most loyal electorate, then the situation in Belgrade, Novi Sad, Valjevo, even at the level of the republic, is immeasurably worse. That is why the elections have now for the first time ceased to be a demonstration of force for the SNS and have become an unknown. And the unknown is dangerous: it carries the possibility of losing the fight
