The Battle of Kolubar, one of the greatest victories of the Serbian Army in the First World War, Duke Živojin Mišić, in the military textbook, an example of a great strategy, the transition from defensive to offensive... ended on December 15. On that day, the final commemoration of the great victory was planned at the church of St. Dimitrije in Lazarevac, where there is a memorial ossuary of 20.000 Serbian and 30.000 Austro-Hungarian soldiers. But the state, for reasons of its own, moved the celebration to December 14, a day earlier. This is how the celebration of the great victory took place, Mr. President of Serbia, at the end, repeated the victory cry: Long live Serbia! The ladder, "today, when other battles are being fought, and a different kind of wisdom and tactics are required", has once again, according to the current government, been moved in every height and depth, including that artistic impression.
WHITE PAPERS: Church of St. Demetrius on the hill in Lazarevac. The Holy Liturgy ended, the bells rang, the people left, the Patriarch, the Prince and the Princess also left, they went to the left, to the parish house on the floors and other tall architecture. The people began to gather lower on the slope, behind a movable metal fence, in front of which were various uniformed delegations with wreaths and other paraphernalia, which did not pass state protocol.
The bells were still ringing, the police, the army, the other security, up to the third callers, were cleaning the area in front of the church, on the other side who was going to fire the cannon, one of the protocols conveyed the information that he, who will be Prince Aleksandar Karađorđević, cannot lay the wreath together with the state delegations, it can only be done later... The bell was still ringing, the stylized presenter of RTS Dnevnik, who has been leading these state ceremonies since Koštunica, arrives on the plateau, she took the protocol and suggested to one of the priests that the flag from the mast must be they take it down, or lift it up, because they are in the way of the cameras, there is a live broadcast...
Soldiers in old uniforms are arranged on the stairs, a new transparent Plexiglas lectern arrives, the protocol begins to be heard, when the last delegation enters the church, the lectern climbs the stairs... The protocol was followed, and all the fellas, mostly women, had loose hair, a bag on the right shoulder, placed over each head, they directed the bearers of the wreaths, who were in ceremonial blue uniforms, to try to cross the route to the Memorial Ossuary.
Someone reported that there were not enough electricity connections, but the protocol kept everything under control, they allowed the descendants of Duke Mišić, with a wreath, to stand next to the state delegations, they agreed when the trumpet would blow, the military band, the honor platoon would approach. They immediately received instructions, When the President comes, there is an honorary greeting, the woman from the government protocol emphasized, When he comes, everything begins! The honor platoon took a drill, re-arranged the soldiers in their old uniforms on the stairs, one woman, who was helped by two others, took beautiful white pieces of paper from the stone slabs, the other wrote on them, Arsić, Dodik, Vulin...
A veiled round table with a candle, and other accessories, was brought out of the church, a man from the protocol loudly conveyed the information to the journalists, At 12 o'clock the church part of the ceremony begins, people go down to the crypt to lay wreaths, only RTS comes down there, there is no place, after the end of the program organized is going to the park, where the play "Battle of Kolubar" is being played... One of the protocol women divides the President's speech into only almost six typed pages, the one Čučković from Obrenovac, to the port, accompanied by a motorized escort, a black state "Audi", "Skoda", "Peugeot" approached, councilor Mrkić appeared, more councilors, SNS vice-president of the Assembly Arsić, SNS Milijan from Kosjerić... everyone who welcomed them military minister Gašić, there was also minister Vulin with security, they all stood in place, on those written white slips, cultural adviser Lale took some work shanties from Vulin, this one answer face to face…
The bell rang again, at 7 minutes to noon, from the black "Mercedes", accompanied by that rotation, Mr. Dodik came out, kissed the first blue uniform, led him to Dodik's white note, said a warm goodbye to counselor Lale, took off his sunglasses, hugged the arrived Patriarch... Just as Prince Alexander approached those white slips, exactly at one minute to 12, there are even more black ones "audija", the president of Serbia, Mr. Tomislav Nikolić himself came out of one, took a black dolama, helped him to stand like a duke, then with a blue uniform, which had a cap, next to him, he went to his white note. The president, who behaved like a duke, took his place, between Dodik and Vulin, kissed Dodik, culture adviser Lale appeared to him, Prince Alexander fell into his arms with a marching step...

CULTURAL EXPERTS: Commemoration begins, Iže jesi na nebesi... forever and ever, amen, the trumpeter announced, the wreath-laying ceremony began, first the President, with a blue uniform behind him, Dodik, the Assembly Arsić, Vulin in front of the Government, Gašić and Diković represented the army, after the delegation of Mišić's descendants, the Prince intervened, and foreign delegations joined...
They brought out and centered the plexiglass lectern on the staircase, the woman from protocol put a folder on the lectern, on the right side her glasses. The military orchestra came out again, the Patriarch, Mr. Nikolić, other gentlemen of the state, all stood in a line, the anthem was played, everyone, headed by the President, who, although in civilian clothes, looked like a duke, stood up, Mr. Vulin he was in a straddling posture, saluting the sun, hands close to the body, head raised, eyes closed. The anthem ended, everyone crossed themselves, except Mr. Minister Vulin, who represented the government, whoop!
The announcer of the state television will answer, Ladies and gentlemen, the President of the Republic of Serbia, Mr. Tomislav Nikolić, will address you. After the announcer repeated the announcement in a foreign language, Mr. Nikolić took the podium. He opened the folder, put on his glasses, said by heart, Your Holiness, venerable fathers, and continued to read the entire and exactly five pages. The second victory, the one we celebrate today, was a sensation for both the conquerors and the allies. Maybe for the Serbs as well... The whole line of statesmen on the stairs was in a listening attitude, only Minister Vulin, chin raised, eyes closed, was in his guard salutation to the sun, that was a higher stage of listening, as it were, of surviving the historical speech.
And the President read fluently, he only stumbled a little at the word Kajmakcalan, but he certainly continued, You can't win the Serbs, unless you divide them. The Battle of Kolubara is the biggest feather in Serbia's glorious and victorious war epic... Fortunately, different battles are being fought today, which require a different kind of wisdom and tactics from us. We will win by respecting the ark of the covenant, which is passed down from father to son... because we have no right to betray our heroic ancestors... Let us repeat the cry with which they stormed, died and won, which echoes in us as a testament, a unique motive and strength. Those are two words that inextricably connect us today with our ancestors and descendants, Long live Serbia! Everyone repeats the shout, Minister Vulin opens his eyes, Mr. President closes the folder, takes off his glasses with his left hand. They started the "March on the Drina", down from the slope where there were people who had spontaneously arrived by bus, as if to hear the shouts: "You have betrayed Kosovo", the words: "Long live the king!"
Everything went to the meadow, at the other end of Lazarevac, where the artistic program was held, the outdoor play "Battle of Kolubara". There were people in the meadow, and there were armies in trenches, tents, horse carts, even a cannon. Across from the battle is a prefab tribune with gray plastic seats. The tribunes were filled by officers in camouflage uniforms, the first row from the end was occupied by advisers. Someone shared with the journalists the information of the Association of stage artists, experts and collaborators in the culture of Serbia (the president is the famous expert Ajdačić Živorad) intended for "means of information". It said who organized the celebration, and there was a letter about the artistic program: The authors of the artistic program of the Battle of Kolubara are Milovan Vitezović, scriptwriter, the program was directed by Živorad Ajdačić and Darko Kamarit... The actors were also listed, and it was also written that the stage presentation of the Battle of Kolubara was also participating 150 members of the Serbian Armed Forces, the General Staff of the Serbian Armed Forces, the Army Command, the Air Force and Air Defense Command, the artistic program was realized by the Association stage artists, experts and collaborators in the culture of Serbia.
Gašić, Vulin, Diković and priests arrived at the tribune, followed by the president with Duke Tomislav, Dodik, and more priests. The choir appeared, the horses neighed in the carriages, and the artistic program began. The actor in the role of Duke Mišić spoke from the stage battlefield: Poćorek stretches the front, surrounds us like pincers, let their howitzers get stuck in our Kolubara battle, we will break the pincers... The cannon fires, everything goes up in smoke, the show continues until victory.
