The future of children must not be held hostage by a disordered system, say the parents of students of the "Pavle Savić" Elementary School.
Parents of pupils of the "Pavle Savić" Elementary School in the Belgrade neighborhood of Mirijevo organized a support rally on Monday evening educators on strike and to students in a blockade.
The participants of the meeting met in front of the entrance to the school, and then they formed a column and went on a protest walk called "Zvezdara walk" to Cvetkova pijaca, where they met with all primary and secondary schools located on Zvezdara.
One of the parents, Elvir Karpuzzi, said that the future of children must not be held hostage by a disordered system.
"The goal of gathering parents is to provide support to teachers, because they are aware that they are under a lot of pressure. We believe that our presence will help them resist and realize their rights," he said.
Karpuzzi emphasized that everyone is tired of chaos and wants the return of stability through justice and, above all, the fulfillment of student demands.
Parents demand the fulfillment of all the demands of students and educators.
