President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky announced that Kiev will respond to the attack on Chernihiv. Russian authorities say that Ukrainian drones hit three areas in Russia, five people were injured, but attacks on Moscow and the Moscow region were prevented.
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky announced that Kyiv will respond to the attack on Chernihiv that killed seven people and injured dozens on Saturday.
Zelensky visited the Netherlands and Denmark, which promised to deliver F-16 fighter jets to Ukraine. The Ukrainian president said that this will strengthen the country's defense.
Time does not heal
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has said he knows nothing of any secret deals to force Ukraine to trade territory for peace, and insists the Russians must be held accountable.
"I don't know what kind of agreements are being discussed somewhere, about what kind of exchange of our territories." We have one document - the peace formula. We have one desire - peace. We formulated it as we see it. We are ready for an open discussion with our colleagues, so that the world is on the same side - on the side of a just peace with the complete restoration of the territorial integrity of Ukraine," Zelensky emphasized at a joint press conference with Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte, reports Ukrinform.
He said that the downing of the Malaysian plane MH17, as well as the massacres in Bucha and Mariupol, cannot be forgotten just because time has passed.
"In Russia, they probably think like this: they will forget these things and we will somehow come to an agreement." This is a matter of justice. We will not come to any agreements just like that. Someone must be held accountable, and we know the names of those people," said the President of Ukraine.
The war in Ukraine entered its 544nd day.
