U SNorth Macedonia seven days of mourning because of the tragedy at the "Puls" discotheque in Kočani in which 59 people lost their lives, and more than 170 were injured. The investigation into the cause of the fire is ongoing, and so far 20 people have been questioned, eight of whom have been detained.
The mayor of Kocan, Ljupco Papazov, submitted his irrevocable resignation.
The citizens of Kočan pay their respects to the dead, light candles and write in the Book of Mourning.
During the afternoon, a protest was held in which responsibility for the tragedy was demanded.
In addition to Greece, Turkey and Bulgaria, seriously injured people from Kočani, who suffered injuries in the tragedy at the "Puls" discotheque, were treated in Serbia.
They are placed in four health centers where they are currently being treated.
On March 16, the government of North Macedonia declared seven days of mourning for the tragedy in Kočani. The Book of Mourning was opened in the Macedonian Assembly, in which all citizens of North Macedonia can register.
Due to the tragedy in North Macedonia, a Day of Mourning was declared in Serbia yesterday.
