Students Faculty of Dramatic Arts (FDU) published a list with the names of five people who they claim were in an organized group that on November 22 physically attacked students who were paying their respects near the FDU at the announced meeting those killed in Novi Sad, and requested that the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MUP) file criminal charges against those people to the competent public prosecutor's office for violent behavior at a public gathering.
The FDU students demand that he immediately confirm the identities of the people the students named as the persons who attacked them, who were "identified according to media reports".
The identification of the other members of the organized group that attacked the students, whose identities are not yet known, is also requested, and that they also be sanctioned, that is, that a criminal complaint be filed against them for violent behavior at a public gathering.
If it is determined that the people whom the students claim attacked them are in public positions, the students demand that they be dismissed from those positions.
FDU students are also demanding the dismissal of Milije Koldžić, a member of the City Council, and the initiation of disciplinary proceedings against Aleksandar Jokić, the coordinator of the distribution area of Elektrodistribucija Beograd.
FDU students also condemned the violence against citizens who demand responsibility "for the crime in Novi Sad", the arrest of activists and police torture.
It is also stated that violence against FDU students is not an isolated case, which is why FDU students called on other students to initiate blockades of their faculties.
FDU students pointed out that the blockade of that faculty, which began on November 25, will last until their demands are met.
The students who blocked FDU invited teachers and teaching assistants to join them, the blockade was organized because of violence against students of that and other faculties, writes the Mašina portal.
The Student Parliament of the Faculty of Dramatic Arts previously announced on Monday that a decision was made to block FDU until Thursday, November 28 at 12 noon.
"During that period, classes will not be held." This decision was caused by violence against our and other students. We believe that violence against students is inadmissible and that the perpetrators must be sanctioned," the Student Parliament said.
