On the fifteenth day since the closure of Serbian institutions in Kosovo, Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić decided to address the public on Friday at 18 p.m.
After the meetings with Miroslav Lajčak and Christopher Hill, he announced that he would address himself within 72 hours and that "now it is completely clear that Aljbin Kurti wants the destruction and persecution of the Serbian people."
He said that he will talk about what Serbia demands, because of the "substantial and brutal attack on the Serbian population in the north of Kosovo and Metohija", what it is that the international community has not fulfilled and what it is that Serbia is asking for.
It is to be expected, he added, that he will appear before the National Assembly with far-reaching proposals during October.
Pompous announcement
However, the pro-regime tabloids announced Vučić's latest appearance in Kosovo a little differently. "Kurir" writes that "the state leadership is still discussing various topics, and that the option of declaring occupation of part of the territory of the Republic of Serbia is on the table."
He goes on to write that "this entails numerous consequences, including preparations for the return to the occupied territories, due to the terror that our people in Kosovo and Metohija have been suffering for years, and which has escalated in the last few days."
The Pinka portal writes that the last in a series of unpleasant events was the beating, mistreatment and arrest of four Serbian young men who were celebrating their birthday.
At the same time, all this brings significant problems, not only due to the need for development and progress of Serbia, but also due to the fact that this would recognize the legality and legitimacy of the so-called the army of Kosovo and their bodies as a legal opposition to the party.
On the morning program of Pink television hosted by Jovana Jeremić, when asked how he views the current situation in Kosovo, Bokan Dragoslav answered: "God is helping. I look through the eyes of Serbian history. Well, today is a holiday in the church calendar when the martyrs of Jasenovac are celebrated, and it reminds us of the sacrifices we all made to get to this point, that after 100 years of that wrong policy, not Serbian but Yugoslav, we can finally stand on our feet, and in the worst possible circumstances after all those sufferings, bombings, sanctions after ten years of terrible struggle to alleviate the consequences of the Kumanovo Agreement, which was practically a military capitulation".
Vučić: We have to look for allies
News reports Vučić's statement that he will have many important meetings, because "we have to fight for Serbia's position in the world, to look for allies." We will do everything possible on that plan and on that issue".
Vučić added that when you eliminate 5.800 jobs and when people can no longer do anything that everyone can do in the modern world, just thanks to the illegal, criminal and illegal decisions of Kurti, you have to take actions that will lead to the return of certain rights, which would be called "status quo ante".
He added that only words of condemnation came from Europe and the countries of the Quinte, but nothing was seen in action. The president emphasized that Belgrade is always open to dialogue with Pristina and that he is ready to go to Brussels to continue the dialogue with Kurti, but that Serbia will not allow pogrom and persecution of its population.
"Lajčak said after the meeting in Belgrade that Vučić conveyed to him great concern about the situation in which the Serbs in Kosovo and Metohija find themselves. He said that the meeting was a preparation for the next meeting of the main negotiators and that they should discuss and find solutions within the dialogue", writes Novosti.
