President of Serbia Aleksandar Vučić he said on Wednesday in Brussels that everything the opposition tries on the street will not succeed, adding that there is a possibility for the formation of a transitional Vlade only if people from the Serbian Progressive Party do not want to listen to him.
When asked by journalists whether, as he promised, he would resign, given that it was proven that a device that could be a "sound cannon" was used at the protest on Saturday, Vučić asked for a video that proves that it was used.
"You are talking about nonsense. No one has used it. You have not shown me any evidence, because you cannot find evidence for something that does not exist," added Vučić, addressing the N1 journalist.
As he stated, all the experts, including Moore, clearly said that there was no sound cannon anywhere.
"You know that's not the truth and then one lie catches up with another. Everyone, including you, knows that I'm telling the truth. This is necessary to collapse Serbia. Thieves will appear in the Parliament tomorrow to demand a transitional government," emphasized Vučić.
"Is that Ljotić resurrected?"
He also commented on the people's plenum that was held on Wednesday evening in Vračar.
"Is that Ljotić resurrected? Will he go to the elections? He won't. In our country, decisions are made in elections, not on the street. They use student blockaders. Many of them would like to be in it, but they know that by doing so they become Đilas's pawns. Whatever they want on the street, it will not pass. Either a government will be formed according to the will of the majority, or we will go to elections. And, maybe there will be a transitional government, but only if the people from the Serbian Progressive Party don't listen to me," said Vučić.
The President of Serbia also stated that at the dinner with NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte, great respect was shown for Serbia and that they discussed all the "important pressing issues of how to preserve peace in the region".
Vučić said that for understandable reasons he could not talk about all the details of the meeting, which lasted two hours and 44 minutes.
"First we had a tete-a-tete meeting, then a meeting of delegations. We discussed all important, pressing issues in order to preserve peace and stability in the region," said Vučić.
It is of great importance that there is no conflict
He also referred to the military agreement between Croatia, Albania and Kosovo.
"I raised the issue, because it is a violation of the subregional arms agreement from 1996. I am convinced that NATO was not informed, but I do not believe that neither Pristina, Zagreb, nor Tirana will worry about it," said Vučić.
As he explained, at the meeting they tried to find a common denominator for all difficult issues, and the determination is to be in constant contact regarding the preservation of peace and stability, a conflict-free area in the Western Balkans, because this is of great importance for both Serbia and NATO.
