Serbia will never support an arrest President of the Republic of Srpska (RS) Milorad Dodik, RS Prime Minister Radovan Višković and Parliament Speaker Nenad Stevandić, especially not because of political disagreements with Sarajevo and representatives of the international community, Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić said on Wednesday (March 12), reports FoNet.
Vučić, in a video address on Instagram, said that the warrant for the arrest of Dodik, Višković and Stevandić is not a contribution to peace, but a contribution to destabilization, destruction of mutual ties and creating complete chaos in the region.
"Serbia will always fight for peace, preserve peace, respect the Dayton Peace Agreement, but also stand by Republika Srpska and its leadership, because there is not a single country in the world in the 21st century where entity presidents, entity parliament presidents and entity government presidents are put in prison, put behind bars just because of political disagreements, because of what they said," emphasized Vučić.
