If we are to believe the writings of some media outlets, whose eyes are wide in fear, and who are close to the powerful, no matter which side, then the "brotherly" love of the greatest among Serbs is seriously called into question.
The short circuit occurred much earlier.
So far, foreigners, foreign embassies and foreign intelligence services have mostly been criticized for preparing an attack on the Republika Srpska, as organized by the color revolutions, the Arab Spring, and now it will be no less than Aleksandar Vučić's turn, of course motivated again by those hateful Westerners.
This time portals and tabloids from Banjaluka and Belgrade went to war. Vučić is charged with supporting the opposition in the Republika Srpska, encouraging the declaration of the election victory of their candidate for the presidential elections, and therefore jeopardizing security. Of course, from the media pens. And he is defended again by some other media close to him. Both of them are ready to defend their political candidates until their last breath.
The eyes of both the ruling party and the opposition have been on Belgrade for decades, and it has almost become an unwritten rule that whoever has the support of Belgrade can count on power in Banja Luka. For years, Milorad Dodik had the exclusive right to meet with the President of Serbia. The door to some other politicians from the opposition was opened two years ago, so the new mayor of Banja Luka, Draško Stanivuković, got the opportunity to hug Vučić and even host him in Banja Luka. In recent months, Dodik has reduced his weekly visits to Belgrade, except meetings with the President of Serbia.
Vučić publicly said that he will not interfere in the election campaign in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
However, the high representative in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kristijan Šmit, said that he spoke with the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, today, Bijeljina's BN television reported.
"Today I spoke with the president of Serbia and the president of Austria. "I have some more conversations today," Schmidt said.
Even before this statement by Šmit, many did not believe Vučić that he would not interfere in the elections in the RS, even many close associates of his friend and brother Dodik from yesterday. The celebration of the Day of Serbian Unity and the Flag in Bijeljina, apart from allowing the opposition members to shake the hand of the first man of the "mother", also took Vučić to the premises of Bijeljina's BNTV. There, Vučić had a friendly hug with the owner of the television company that was hated by Dodik - Vlado Trišić. Dodik considers this media house "even worse than the SDS (Serbian Democratic Party)". The opposition in the RS used Dodik's friendship with Croatian President Milanović and their socializing at Dodik's private estate to cast doubt on relations with Vučić, who has a lowered ramp on the way to Jasenovac.
On the eve of the election silence, the RS police had arrested the members of the Main Board of Vučić's SNS in Banja Luka. We listened to various explanations, from those that all vehicles with foreign license plates were stopped and controlled (the mother became foreign overnight), to those that were arrested were connected to buying votes for the elections, to those that the announcement of the victory of Jelena Trivić on election night Vučić butter. With all that, Vučić's congratulation to Milorad Dodik was missing, although it was done by the Prime Minister of Masarska, Viktor Orban.
Those who, until yesterday, publicly supported, hugged and kissed each other, shared worldviews that made these areas the most undesirable place to live, fought seriously.
