Vučić said that the camp will turn into a Christmas village, answering questions from journalists, when laying the foundation stone for a new General Staff.
"I asked the people, it's not a question of the location, it's a question of the state, those people saved the land and they deserve a huge thank you, and it will go down in history as a tactical move that contributed to the crushing of the colored revolution. I, as a sign of attention, goodwill and gratitude, the respect I show, talked to them. And they informed me that they will start the removal, they will be there for two, three or four days, Christmas village, so that all citizens can enjoy it, those fences will also be removed. It will be open to traffic there from January 2 or 3, only a small part around Pionirski Park will remain," said Vučić, answering a journalist's question whether the people who held the camp refused to withdraw.
He is going to visit them.
Vučić also stated that he will visit Ćaciland to thank the people who endured and defended the country, "with their commitment and courage, withstanding all pressures". He added that it will go down in history textbooks "how they saved their homeland with their heroism and without whining."
He also stated that tomorrow he will be with Milan Bogdanović, who was wounded in Ćaciland, that in the meantime people will be able to enjoy Božićnji Selo, and that the country is defended.
The drone factory is coming.
At the ceremony of laying the foundation stone for the construction of the new building of the Ministry of Defense and the General Staff of the Serbian Armed Forces, Vučić said that the contractor is the Military Construction Center (VGC).
"It is a huge space in line with the importance of our army. It will be good complexes built in a real military security environment. The General Staff will be moved from the city center, but important decisions will be made here. We have invested a lot of money in it," he said.
Vučić reminded that in that place, on Banjica, "our chivalrous ancestors soared into the sky", that is, that the first military airport was formed there 115 years ago, which was crucial in that period.
Vučić also announced that a sophisticated drone factory will be opened in Serbia by April.
