Prime Minister of the Government of Serbia Milos Vucevic he stated that he was Vlada ready to issue an official invitation to the US Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and the Russian intelligence service FBD to come and conduct an investigation into the alleged use of a sound cannon at Saturday's protest in Serbia.
"We are ready to make an official invitation, we are not hiding anything," Vučević told reporters at the Government.
He reiterated his position that no Serbian state authority used a sound cannon at that protest.
Vucevic called the story about the use of a sound cannon fabricated, stating that no sound cannon was on the streets of Belgrade, as well as that he was with the police all day on Saturday and that no order was issued to use a baton.
"There is no order from the leadership of the police, superiors in the chain of command, nor from the units that were in the field, nor from the command section, to carry out any action against anyone," the prime minister said, adding that he was grateful to the police for a "perfectly done job."
The Prime Minister assessed that behind everything is hidden "the continuation of the colored revolution in Serbia".
