The criminal complaint against the four students in the blockade was filed by the prime minister in his technical mandate Milos Vucevic, due to, as he claims, misleading the public in connection with incident in Novi Sad.
The police arrested two people and issued a search warrant for two others on suspicion that they attacked four young men in Novi Sad on the night of March 28, one of whom was seriously injured. The incident came into public focus because of the conflicting claims of the authorities and students about the fight.
Miloš Vučević told Tanjug that anyone who violated the law would be held accountable and added that the eventual responsibility of those students in the blockade must be determined, that is, whether they insulted Roma children.
According to him, the students in the blockade who are connected to that incident must bear responsibility if they are found to have misled the public.
"We will not stop at this. They forgot about the sound cannon, no one mentions it anymore. The FSB has arrived. The potential responsibility of these blockaders must be determined if they insulted Roma children and they must bear responsibility if they misled the public. Yesterday I filed a criminal complaint against the four of them for misleading the public," said Vučević.
As he stated, not even a millimeter of space must be left for deception, which, according to him, has been going on for half a year or more.
"We provide you with all the evidence that the opposite happened. The two people who defended those Roma children were detained and I hope the police will find others. Whoever broke the law will be held accountable, that is my key message," said Vucevic.
