Prime Minister Milos Vucevic he assessed that Prishtina unnecessarily conducts long inspections at the Merdare crossing, that is, creates "administrative complications just to make people nervous and to render meaningless everything that was supposedly agreed upon".
Vucevic stated that the Prime Minister of Kosovo Albin Kurti "everything is being done to make the normal life of Serbs in Kosovo and Metohija more difficult", and that because of this the Serbian government is facing "a lot of pain and worry", reports RTS.
"Don't mind me using that term, but it's all going wrong." I am talking about the Merdare administrative crossing. "Kurti agreed, he signed, but he minimizes it in every way, that is, he acts destructively," said Vucevic.
Vucevic claims that Kurti created a problem with the Balkan Free Trade Agreement (CEFTA), as he claims now, he is creating the same problem with the entry of goods from central Serbia to Kosovo and Metohija, and that "in this sense, he will not calm down".
"Like when a student who runs away from class shows up in a class, and the class teacher or teacher praises that student who ran away, and not those who are present all the time, study and do assignments, come in and get good grades." But that is the case when it comes to Kosovo and Metohija," said Vucevic.
Speaking about the Jarinje and Brnjak crossings, where Pristina has not yet lifted the ban on the entry of goods from central Serbia, Vučević pointed out that Serbia is in for a lot of trouble in that regard as well, claiming that Kurti will not let goods there, justifying himself by saying that he did not receive scanners and claiming that Serbia does not only transport groceries and other necessities.
"He is doing everything to make it difficult for the normal life of Serbs in Kosovo and Metohija," said the Prime Minister of Serbia.
