The visit of Marta Kos was marked by a specific misunderstanding about it - whether she would also visit the so-called Students who want to study
The statement by Martha Kos, European Commissioner for Enlargement, that "to talk with students who are blocked and those who want to study", opened the question - is the representative of the European Union going to Pionirski Park, popular Ćaciland?
However, "Vremen" sources claim that Kos, who is in Belgrade on a two-day visit, will not visit Pioneer Park, which has been besieged for more than a month by people claiming to be students, among whom were seen numerous progressives and local officials from Serbia, but also from Kosovo.
It is added that it was a confusion and that the commissioner probably "just wanted to say that she will talk to both sides".
The question is - was this just a sloppy statement by a high-ranking European representative, from which the people working on the protocol grabbed her head because it was actually - untrue?
Or is there a PR crisis in the middle, i.e. putting out a small fire, which could seriously flare up? Because this meeting would make it clear to everyone how the European Union views the student protests in Serbia.

Marta Kos, on the first day of the visit, April 29, met with the Prime Minister By Đuro Macuta, and then with the President of the Republic, Aleksandar Vučić, in Villa Mir. Then she had a meeting with the President of the Assembly Ana Brnabić.
On the second day of her visit, she was in Novi Sad, where she spoke with students in the blockade, and on the afternoon of April 30, the editorial source adds, she will meet with representatives of the Rectorate in Belgrade and several deans of Belgrade University.

Marta Kos announced on the X social network that she met with students from Novi Sad and said that she understands them and that their demands match those presented to the authorities in Serbia by the European Union.
"I understand you. I want to repeat that what the EU is asking from Serbia is fully in line with the demands of the protesting citizens," Kos wrote, adding that the most important thing is that they, the young generation, take advantage of the opportunities that the EU offers.
This will be followed by a meeting with representatives of civil society and media associations, as well as deserving women from various sectors in Serbia.
"They are certainly not pro-government oriented," adds the "Vremena" source.
The agenda of her visit should be officially announced soon.
