Study at UNIRSM and high school students from Valjeva have published a statement on the Instagram social network that during the night between Saturday 15 and Sunday 16 August, the car of the prosecutor of the Basic Public Prosecutor's Office in Valjevo, Vukašin Vujičić, was set on fire.
In a statement, the students state: "This attack comes after several weeks of public targeting of Vukašin Vujičić in the local media."
The Ministry of Internal Affairs in Valjevo said that a Seat Ibiza car was doused with flammable liquid during the night and then set on fire, reports N1.
MUP also stated that criminal charges will be filed against the NN perpetrator for endangering security.
Prosecutor Vujičić told N1 that he suspects that his car was set on fire because of the proceedings he is conducting against the criminal group headed by Marko Mirković.
In the statement, the students state that Vukašin Vujičić is one of the few prosecutors in Valjevo who "stood on the side of justice" from the beginning and continued to enforce the law despite the pressures.
