The Government of Serbia has adopted amendments to the Law on games of chance, which prescribed numerous restrictions for minors, and there is an obligation to check the age of persons who enter automatic clubs and betting shops.
The obligation to display a poster with a text warning about gambling addiction and the prohibition of the participation of minors in these activities was also extended on the outside of the shop window.

What is new is the introduction of the possibility of self-exclusion and self-limitation of players, as well as legal solutions for online organizers related to the information and communication system, that is, the obligation to provide access to their databases.
The obligation to establish the identity of players during registration for online games is also being introduced, in order to prevent minors from participating, while the organizers will be obliged to provide the Gaming Authority with access to their video surveillance link.
Distance between betting shops and schools
When it comes to the distance of betting shops and club machines from primary and secondary schools, only the certificate of the Republic Geodetic Institute, which is issued based on the measured distance, will no longer be sufficient, but the opinion of traffic experts will also be mandatory.
Penal measures for illegal organization of games of chance provide for the revocation of the license for organization of games in an automatic club, betting shop or in a gaming room (casino), if a repeated irregularity is detected only once in the same area.
