"Good afternoon, dear listeners. I'm Gorica Pilipović, and the show Ars sonora, which, as you know, contains current affairs in music, has fallen under the influence of acute sonic cannonDear listeners, dear and students in the blockade, I wish you all the best", read the announcement of the show, which the author canceled on Monday as a sign of protest.
Journalist Pilipović states that she canceled the show because the lives of peaceful citizens, children, students, and unarmed people were threatened without precedent, writes the Association of Journalists of Serbia (UNS).
"The use of an unidentified means of intimidation at the protest on March 15 was the peak of improper behavior by state structures," Pilipović told UNS.
Pilipović says that she was asked to make a statement and that the management of the house will decide whether and in what way she will be sanctioned.
"The show contained a well-mannered announcement and music," concluded Pilipović.
Criticism of the Public Media Service comes not only from dissatisfied citizens and students, but also from RTS workers, who, as stated on their Instagram account @nasprotest, "feel the need and obligation to, fighting for the possibility of professionally performing their work, seek a better RTS, as a prerequisite for a better society".
During the weekend, employees of the Second and Third programs were not allowed to enter the Radio Belgrade building, while previously recorded programs were broadcast on their frequencies.
