Milan Ostojić, known by the nickname Sandokan, was wounded in the shooting that took place on Wednesday evening in front of the shopping center in Šabac. For now, there is no official information about the severity of his injuries or about the attacker

According to unofficial information, up to shootings came at 10:30 p.m. in front of a shopping center in this city.

The extent of the injuries is unknown.

Milan Ostojić, aka Sandokna, is known as the leader of the "Sabaka group" which, according to the prosecution, was behind at least five murders and one attempted murder. This criminal organization was also involved in heroin trafficking, money laundering and banditry.

Šapčani were arrested in 2009, and the following were also charged. The prosecution claimed that Ostojić, together with a close associate, planned the criminal actions of this clan, which included the liquidation of rivals.

Sandokan and one of his criminals stayed in Ćaciland, a camp set up in Pionirski Park by supporters of Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić.
