In the new issue: Vučić's dreams

For the dead August season, in the days when, fortunately, there is no more war in Kosovo and Metohija (like last year), and when the opposition is disintegrating by itself because it fails to channel the discontent of tens of thousands of people in protests across Serbia, Vučić's team for public relations decided to start the new campaign with a story about his dreams and the future incredible development of Serbia. In a few days, the public was bombarded with announcements of new projects presented by Ana Brnabić and Aleksandar Vučić at a joint press conference.

Media reports under the control of Vučić's cabinet, and all of them with national TV coverage and all daily newspapers except "Danas" and "Nova", are no longer news, nor are they fake news: they are reports from the future. It is now the year 2027, and it is a Serbia that, as Vučić said, "we cannot recognize".

He has a dream, which is a PR tool taken from the famous speech of Martin Luther King, the leader of the civil movement in America in the sixties ("I have a dream"), which serves here to sell a personality to an electorate that has become immune to promises, and somehow it is increasingly difficult for him to connect his poverty and inability to buy what he needs in the store with the president's megalomaniacal announcements...
