Six members of the Movement of Free Citizens and the organization Stav were arrested
Arrests of activists and members of the Novi Sad committee began Movement of free citizens (PSG) and the Stav organization because, according to the media, tape which is Thursday (March 14) published in the regime media.
The police announced on Friday (March 15) that they had arrested six people from the organization Stav and the Movement of Free Citizens on suspicion of having committed the criminal offense of preparing an act against the constitutional order and security of Serbia, in connection with the criminal offense of calling for a violent change of the constitutional order.
According to the announcement, a member of the organization Stav LD (23) and members of PSG MC (25), DS (24), MV (49), LJ (43) and S. Đ were arrested. (26).
The President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, said on Friday (March 15) evening that in many countries what was heard on the video that appeared in the public about the alleged preparation of a coup d'état would be a sufficient reason to ban the party, but that he is absolutely against the banning of the Movement of Free Citizens (PSG).
"I will always be against the ban on political parties." "There is nothing terroristic in their program and nothing that calls for violence," said Vučić at the press conference.
He said that there are "innumerable fools who would ban the parties in power", but that what is needed is not a ban, but a conversation with everyone.
In a "joint co-production" of Pink, Informer, Prva, Studio B and Happy television, on Thursday evening they broadcast a "film", i.e., an audio recording, of a meeting in the Novi Sad premises of the Movement of Free Citizens, in which it is heard that its members are planning to occupy the RTS building. The video is "probably" authentic, they told "Vremena" at the top of that movement and distanced themselves from these members of theirs.
