The city election commission will have to decide again on the objections of the "Change we believe in" list, the Higher Court in Zaječar decided
The pompously announced "National Assembly" of Aleksandar Vučić in Niš was prepared for days, and dispersed in a few hours
The center of Niš has been usurped for days, with and without permits, stages, mobile toilets were set up, burgers were grilled and Aca Lukas sang.
"There are tens of thousands of people here, and I hear like there are five hundred of you," the singer complained on Saturday (May 17) and then tried one more time. But only a few dozen people accepted to sing "Song of Pain".
Multiply by five.
The star of the evening, the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, barely twenty thousand people welcomed it, according to the assessment of the Archives of Public Meetings.
A modest figure, despite the hundreds of buses that arrived in Nis, carrying people as ordered.
"We made the biggest gathering ever in Nis," claimed Vučić from the stage, while his tabloids imagined that there were a hundred thousand people.
Fantasies of the size already seen in Belgrade were poured into Niš when fifty thousand people were gathered and brought to the "parliament" in the extended illegal camp near Pionirski Park - six times less than those who had gathered of their own free will. March 15 to protest against the government.
Take your provisions and run.
Anyway, shortly after Vučić's speech - in which he snapped at the "blockaders" and announced that there was nothing to demand - the visitors picked up packages of Coca-Cola and other things left of the prepared provisions and went home.
City cleanliness entered the scene with brooms and snots.
Thus, the rally that was announced and reported to the police for three days actually lasted barely a few hours.
Dragan Milić, the first man of the movement who manages the central Niš municipality of Medijana, said this in advance about the gathering: "The grasshoppers come, the grasshoppers leave."
But even this fiasco, which is barely presented as a spectacle before the cameras of the regime media, will hardly make Vučić wise up. He said in his speech: "That's how we will go to every city."
Elsewhere in Serbia, three-day gatherings of a few hours are threatening.

While massive construction on Dorćol is expanding, the number of free parking spaces is disappearing. Citizens gathered in front of the Stari grad municipality, demanding that the government at least listen to them. The security did not let them to the meeting, but they are not giving up - and are offering a concrete solution
The expansion of the Belgrade on Water project has caused a new wave of resistance among citizens and activists. Several thousand complaints were sent to the authorities due to, as the applicants claim, unplanned, harmful and illegal encroachments in the very center of the city. The public demands that the commission listen to the voice of citizens and stop further expansion of the project
Since the central bridge over the Ibar in Kosovska Mitrovica has been closed to traffic for years, Aljbin Kurti wants to build two new ones
The Judicial Chamber in Užice ruled that the elections held on June 8 should be repeated in one polling station in Kosjerić. This could call into question the victory of SNS in this municipality because the difference was only 51 votes
