The outcome of the local elections in Sphere and events during the constitutive session of the Municipal Assembly, for many opponents of the regime, represents the "key to change" for the whole of Serbia, i.e. a scenario according to which the government would Aleksandar Vučić could finally be replaced.
This is confirmed by the statement of the student and councilor of the Kula Municipal Assembly, Ljiljana Knežević, that the entry of the citizen group "Glas mladih Kula Municipality" into the local parliament represents "the beginning of resistance from within."
"I am speaking in front of the group of citizens 'Voice of the Youth of the Municipality of Kula' on the second item on the agenda, although the only meaningful item today would be your collective facing of responsibility for everything you have done to us," Knežević said at the constitutive session of the Kula Municipality Assembly.
She told N1 that they are councillors Serbian Progressive Partye during the constitutive session showed nervousness due to the uncertain vote for the President of the Assembly and stated that he had unofficial information that the councilors of the coalition around the SNS will take a polygraph test to determine "who is the one who betrayed them" and did not vote for the SNS candidate Velibor Milojičić.
She assessed that the entry of the group of citizens "Voice of the Youth of the Kula Municipality" into the Municipal Assembly marks the beginning of action from the inside, and no longer only from the outside.
"Now, for the first time, we have been given the opportunity to resist from within. They will no longer be able to behave as arrogantly in that assembly, as they have behaved so far, and they will not be able to be as arrogant as they were until now - we are here now, they will listen to us and the conductor's baton will pass to our side. We will carefully study the rules of procedure and we will know how to act in the assembly and we will know how to address them and they will listen to us from now on, so that they will sit as if on pins and needles and they will be sorry for everything they did," Knežević assessed.

"Starting from the Tower"
The key to the success of the opponents of the Kula regime lies in the unique performance of students and citizens. They participated together in the local elections at the end of March, before which they intensified their campaign by visiting households throughout the municipality and organizing mobile teams and observation missions.
This is how the famous slogan "It starts from the Tower" appeared, and the reactions of the citizens to the campaign, according to the statements of the students, were mostly positive.
During the campaign, students tried to reach everyone's door so that their voice and political program would reach not only certain voters, but also undecided voters, as well as those for whom students are not their first choice.
They had enough teams during the campaign, because students and members of choirs from other places were also involved in the work.
In addition, the students were in constant communication with the choirs of Novi Sad and Belgrade, but also in places throughout Vojvodina, such as Sombor, Vrbas, Bač, Zrenjanin and Sremski Karlovci and others.
It was this synergy that helped the student-citizen list, which did not have too much previous experience and knowledge of how to run a political campaign, achieve excellent results in the elections.
How weakened and vulnerable the regime coalition in Kula is after those elections was shown by the constitutive session of the Municipal Assembly, where after incidents, several hours of tension and repeated voting that cannot be claimed to be legal, the President of the Assembly was re-elected from the ranks of the SNS.
