"What we started in December with 400.000 signatures, we are now continuing even more concretely: we have prepared the same number of stickers that must reach every corner of Serbia. Come and together we will plaster Serbia with the truth", said the students in an invitation on social networks.

It is not for nothing that a good slogan is half the battle. And students want to make theirs visible everywhere.
For days it has been widespread Belgrade "Students win" stickers appear. They appear on flags, benches, traffic lights, walls, sidewalks, trees - wherever they can stick.
It didn't take long before the "Serbia wins" stickers appeared. We can see that this is a marketing solution of the ruling party by the "copy and paste" mechanism - Social Media suffers from a chronic lack of creativity.
This is not the first time they have "borrowed" an idea from students. We had graffiti of a red hand with a raised middle finger, which in appearance resembled the symbol of the student movement "bloody hand".

We also witnessed several unsuccessful walks before the SNS rally, when their supporters tried to board the buses secretly - a pale copy of the hundreds of kilometers that the students walked during the last year.
SNS obviously recognizes the good campaign that the students continuously lead.
Can "Students Win" come true as well as "It's Done"
The slogan "You are not competent" was perhaps the most painful confrontation with the truth for the President of Serbia Aleksandar Vučić. She had visibly taken him off guard.
It arose after the president, instead of the prosecution, published documentation on the reconstruction of the canopy.
Marketing expert Igor Avzner says that it was one of the first slogans that seriously "caught on" in society.
"All the slogans that put him in his rightful place annoy Vučić terribly and get on his nerves terribly. From the fact that he is incompetent, which is the factual situation, to the fact that the students are winning. It carries the message not only that the students are the winners, but that he is the loser," says Avzner.
Analyzing the strength of the current slogan in relation to historical examples, Avzner points out that in terms of communication, "It's done!" and "Students Win" are essentially the same, but with one major difference that makes the current message potentially more inconvenient for the regime.

The famous slogan "It's done!" it marked the fall of Slobodan Milošević and became a symbol of civil disobedience in the nineties. The slogan was created by the "Resistance!" movement. According to testimonies, it arose spontaneously in Kruševac after an action, when activists concluded that Milošević's rule was over.
"The message is the same, but 'students win' has a stronger connotation. 'It's over!' It carries a kind of negative context, and here we have a proactive one. The students win, of course. Who? Vučić explains.
History teaches us that "It is finished!" was a simple, easy to remember and extremely sticky slogan that served as a common denominator for diverse opposition currents, and "Students win" plays a similar role today, but with the addition of hope for a better future.
However, as Avzner warns, it is important to understand that slogans alone do not defeat the autocratic machinery. They are a tool for mobilization.
The real victory is achieved at the polling stations themselves.
