Changing the composition of the National Assembly after the elections represents a decisive step towards the healing of institutions and restoring citizens' trust in the system, according to the students in the blockade.
As the students state in a post on the Instagram social network, the replacement of deputies must not be just a mere replacement of a person, but a radical change in the way of decision-making, which would break the continuity of corruption and political control over state bodies.
"The student list does not bring a "new elite", but people without affairs, private interests and debts to parties, which reduces the space for corruption and increases the space for decisions in favor of the citizens," the students stated in the announcement.
Government control
Such deputies would be responsible exclusively to the public, the students add, which would ensure real control of the executive power as the basis of any democratic society.
"On those bases, the program of the electoral list, which includes 18 key areas of social life", states the students and adds that the program "is formed according to the Social Agreement and the Program Minimum, with the advice of eminent experts, it represents a clear, verifiable and responsible basis for the actions of future deputies", the announcement states.
The students conclude that the change in the composition of the parliament is not a leap into uncertainty, but a necessary precondition for freeing institutions from pressures and the beginning of the normalization of society in which politics finally returns to its basic purpose, which is to serve the people.
