In addition to the Institute of Dentistry, students are also blocking the FMA Institute, which is located within the Clinical Center.
"Online teaching is not an option"
The protest is held under the slogan "Online teaching is not an option", because students, among other things, believe that it is not good for those studying medicine. They claim that this puts their diplomas in jeopardy and say that health professionals cannot study online.
The FMA students during the blockade during the Easter holidays wrote an open letter to the doctors, noting that online teaching is not adequate, especially not for medical education, writes "Danas".
"It will be as the Plenum says. Classes will not start until our demands are met. We promise that we will emerge from our struggle as real health workers, and our education cannot be virtual. We will return to the faculty only when we heal the system," the students said.
"That is our message to those who want to teach us to heal people through the screen", they said, asking why their professors are silent, reports "Danas".
Online classes and deadlines for the beginning of the year
Let us remind you that online classes started last week at the Faculty of Medicine in Nis, and according to the students in the blockade, only five percent of students.
