Students in the blockade of the Faculty of Law in Novi Sad asked about the occasion visits of Albanian President Bajram Begai to the south of Serbia, why didn't the pro-regime media report on this and is the ground being prepared for Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić to "sell another part of the Serbian state"?
Begaj visited Serbia on Wednesday, the students stated, noting that the news that a foreign official is visiting should not in itself cause controversy, but that this information was not in the pro-regime media.
"Begaj did not come on an official visit to Belgrade, but, accompanied by the Serbian police and security guards equipped with long pipes, he came to Bujanovac and Preševo, where he was welcomed by representatives of the local authorities there with Albanian flags", said the students.
"While Serbs are being arrested in Kosovo because of Serbian symbols and songs, Begaj comes to the south of Serbia under the veil of media darkness as if he is passing through his country. After that, we get a statement from the mayor of Preševo that Preševo and the Preševo Valley are an inseparable part of the Albanian world," the students added, with the assessment that the government once again shows that it is a big traitor, and Vučić that "the nickname given to him by the citizens of Serbia suits him perfectly".
"The government has survived for years at the expense of false patriotism and presents itself as the protector of national interests, while its actions show that it is anything but patriotic," the students said.
