Employees of the Center for Social Work "Solidarnost" from Kragujevac point out that the conditions in which they work are degrading
Employees of the Center for Social Work "Solidarity" from Kragujevac, members of the representative body Union employees in social protection, will organize a warning strike on Friday, February 14, which will start at 11:55 and will last for one hour.
In this way, the employees of the Center for Social Work "Solidarity" want to once again call on the City of Kragujevac and the relevant ministry to take concrete measures to improve the position of employees and improve working conditions.
It was stated that previous appeals and attempts to point out the marginalization of the social protection system in relation to other social activities remained unanswered by all competent institutions.
"The conditions in which we perform the duties entrusted to us are degrading, which results in a weakening of the efficiency in handling and in the quality of the services we provide to users," said the employees of the Center for Social Work "Solidarity".
They demand that their demands be met: changes in the salary calculation system, urgent entry into negotiations for the conclusion of a new special collective agreement and urgent employment of workers and filling of vacant positions according to priorities, by the middle of 2025 at the latest.
It was stated that the trade union organization will carefully monitor the course of negotiations of the working groups of trade unions and line ministries and that further decisions will be made in accordance with the outcome of those negotiations.
