At the core of progressive combinations in the capital is corruption, which is the only vision of SNS for Belgrade, says Stefan Simić in the new issue of Vremena, which is on newsstands from Thursday, October 2. He is the man who discovered park on Zvezdara, which cost 23 million dinars, including a parking lot in Belgrade that was built - only to be demolished.
The MP who, in a rather original way, points to corruption in every playground, transportation and security in the capital, recently received an invitation from the Secretariat for Inspection, Supervision and Communications because, as the inspector explained to him, they received several reports due to that he stuck yellow duct tape on curbs around the roundabouts in the center.
Those curbs seem intentional set traps - cyclists use them, because colors and dimensions, mixed with the street signand then fell over them.
He sees the covert operation of numerous public companies and secrecy of business as the biggest problems in Belgrade.
"Belgrade's security which is covered by a veil of secrecy. Then they say it is for the safety of the children. No one hastive of child safety, on the contrary. Of good doubts arise because everything is non-transparent - who are the people who are employed, what are their qualifications, how does the surveillance system work, where are they stored recordings, is there room for abuseboo? We don't know any of that, even though we always dowe always ask questions", says Simić.
As an incredible example of misleading people, he mentions public transport, which he says, "not that it's not free, but is far overpaid for that serviceto companies in direct connection with SNS, in a tender where there were no other biddersstudent and at a price that is many times higher "real".
"And we pay for that free transportation." everyone, through the never more expensive Infostan, never bigger taxes, never-worse communal services and all unrenovated kindergartens and schools. Therefore, that free public transport is the gravedigger of Belgrade's finances," adds Simić.
The last assembly brought a new price increase and now public transport costs us beyond belief50 billion watts per year. For that money, "buses should be golden," says the MP.
Cooperation with students
Simić says that he participates in all student protests and blockades.
"I'm always here to help."not with them, to give them support, or in front of them them if necessary to protect themselves. I mean that they did a great thing for Serbia and our future, and I thank them for that. SupportI hear their invitation to the elections and I believe to the victory of the anti-regime front," he says.
He adds that he believes that everyone who is should cooperate in this fight, regardless of what forThey participate in elections.
