If at this moment, due to an epidemic or a state of emergency, we closed the borders of our country (as was the case during the corona virus pandemic), Serbia would not have enough food to feed its population. Through years of destruction of agriculture, we have come to a situation where we have become consumers of the lowest quality imported food.
The current government, absolutely deaf to the needs of local farmers, has in recent years begun to give away the highest quality land to the white world powers for nothing. Al Dahra received almost as a gift Privredni kombinat "Belgrade" (PKB), hundreds of thousands of hectares in Vojvodina have already been leased, the government wants to pollute the land from Loznica to Valjevo with Rio Tinto. Some dandies in Žagubica with the exploitation of gold across the Mlava river are destroying the Stiska plain, in Bor they are taking out our souls for a handful of silver coins in addition to our copper! There are many examples.
Our herders have never been in a more difficult situation. Farmers are on the edge of existence. Everything that is done in the countryside is done at a loss.
Our peasant can endure a lot. He can handle a crisis, he can endure a war and win, he can also understand. Only he will not tolerate injustice. Today in Serbia, idlers and criminals live luxuriously, their children drive the most expensive cars on the Belgrade asphalt, and when a Serbian peasant asks for help from the Government, it says - there is no money.
That's enough, gentlemen from the Government! Either it will be for everyone or it will be for no one.
