In their statements after voting in the parliamentary, provincial, and Belgrade elections, as well as elections for councilors in more than 60 cities and municipalities, Serbian politicians referred more to the election process itself than to the main messages of their programs.
Aleksandar Vučić: I will be president of Serbia for four more years
Thus, the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, emphasized that he hopes that all actors of the election game will behave in a rational, serious and responsible manner, stressing that he is "not sure".
He also told the journalists present that they have reason to be nervous, because he will be the president of Serbia for another four years.
Vučić added that it is an important task and an important condition for Serbia to continue on the path of prosperity and success, that the same "Serbia must not stop" be close or have an absolute majority.
Ana Brnabić: Hope to beat normal Serbia
Prime Minister Ana Brnabić said that she expects the election day to pass in order and peace, because the elections are a holiday of democracy.
She added that she hopes to win and that decent and normal Serbia will win, and that people will vote for results, a plan, a program and a clear vision, and against hatred.
Aleksandar Šapić: Vote according to your conscience
The candidate of the list "Aleksandar Vučić - Serbia must not stop" for the mayor of Belgrade, Aleksandar Šapić, today called on fellow citizens to vote "according to their conscience" in the Belgrade and parliamentary elections.

Dobrica Veselinović, the holder of the "Serbia against violence" list in the elections for the Belgrade Assembly councilors, said today that he hopes that the exact results of the elections will be known tonight and that there will be a peaceful transition of power.
After voting, he said that he hoped the day would pass without violence and irregularities, although he pointed out that since early in the morning, pressure had been exerted on the voters and they were voting on orders. Veselinović expects a large turnout and predicts that on election night he will quickly have accurate data and a peaceful transition of power.
"We expect a victory in Belgrade, while at the republican level we believe in a result that will make it impossible for the ruling parties to form the government again, said the holder of the Serbia against violence list in the elections for the Serbian Parliament, Marinika Tepić, who voted in the local community "Sonja Marinković" in Novi Sadu.

Speaking about his expectations, the SSP leader emphasized that he expects citizens to go to the polls en masse and show their will to vote. "We, as the largest opposition list, will defend their will with all possible democratic means", he said.
SDS: Things can change
The President of the Social Democratic Party (SDS), Boris Tadić, today called on citizens to go to the elections full of optimism because things can change.
Tadić cited the Franco-German plan for Kosovo, the preservation of territorial integrity, the fight against crime, corruption and inflation as the biggest challenges.
SRS: Everything will go well
The deputy president of the Serbian Radical Party, Aleksandar Šešelj, said today that the will of the people is sacred and that the government should confirm its legitimacy or be changed only in elections.
After voting at the polling station in the "Svetislav Golubović Mitraljeta" Elementary School, he told the journalists that he believes that today will pass in a democratic atmosphere and that citizens will turn out in large numbers for the parliamentary, provincial and local elections throughout Serbia.
"For 33 years of our existence, we have been known as a political party that has always absolutely respected the will of the people, and that will be the case today," Seselj said. He added that the parliamentary elections are a democratic achievement and that they insist that they pass in the best order.
Dodik voted publicly
The President of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, voted in the parliamentary elections in Serbia today at the Consulate General of Serbia in Banja Luka.
Dodik did not enter the designated polling station, but voted publicly in front of journalists.
Representatives of the opposition and some citizens claimed during the election day that they voters from Republika Srpska gathered en masse in the Belgrade Arena, after which they were distributed according to lists to different polling stations in Belgrade.
