Employees at judicial authorities, the courts, the public prosecutor's office and institutions for the execution of criminal sanctions, will enter tomorrow, March 18, at all-day strike, announced the Syndicate of the Judiciary.
As stated in the announcement, all employees will stop working in the premises of their institutions.
The proposal of the Syndicate of the Judiciary is that the employees act in cases related to deprivation of liberty, which are conducted against minor perpetrators of criminal acts and due to domestic violence, as well as in proceedings in which a proposal for the determination of a temporary measure has been highlighted.
The union also reminds that the strike requests were sent to the Ministry of Justice on February 5.
It is requested to sign a protocol on increasing the salary base for judges, public prosecutors and other employees in judicial bodies, in the amount of at least 20 percent.
It is also required to pay compensation for food expenses during work, in the amount of at least 15.000 dinars per month.
The union of the judicial authorities is also demanding the payment of holiday pay, in the amount of at least 85.000 dinars per year, starting with the salary for April 2025.
