Milena A. and Dušan K. denied that they had committed the crime of violent behavior at a public meeting
Milena A. and Dušan K, suspected of being ahead on November 22, 2024 Faculty of Dramatic Arts (FDU) attacked the gathered students were heard on Thursday at Higher Public Prosecutor's Office (VJT) in Belgrade, announced VJT.
They are charged with the criminal offense of violent behavior at a public gathering or sports event.
During the hearing, the suspects denied that they had committed a criminal offense and presented their defense.
In the report, it was stated that unknown persons attacked students, employees and journalists who gathered in front of that faculty at 11:52 a.m. to pay their respects to the victims of the fall of the canopy at the railway station in Novi Sad on November 1, 2024.
The students reported the gathering to the police with a plan to close the Art Boulevard in front of FDU for 15 minutes.
The hearing of three more suspects in the case is scheduled for January 10, while the injured parties will be invited to testify at the prosecution on January 30 and 31.
"In addition to the above, the Prosecutor's Office undertakes other actions within its jurisdiction with the aim of verifying the allegations of the criminal complaint that was submitted to the Third Primary Public Prosecutor's Office in Belgrade on December 2, 2024 by the Dean of the FDU against unknown persons, and which was taken over by the VJT in Belgrade on December 12 ", stated the Prosecution.
The FDU students previously named the attackers by name and demanded that those who beat them be immediately sanctioned: Milija Koldžić, Aleksandar Jokić, Dušan Kostić, Milena Aleksić and Ivan Stanišić, and who, thanks to social networks, it was found out very quickly that are all members of the Serbian Progressive Party.
