Why students block FDU
Students Faculty of Dramatic Arts (FDU) published a list with the names of five people who they claim were in an organized group that on November 22 physically attacked students who were paying their respects near this Faculty at the announced meeting those killed in Novi Sad. In addition, they requested that the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MUP) file a criminal complaint against those people to the competent public prosecutor's office for violent behavior at a public gathering.
If it is determined that the people whom the students claim attacked them are in public positions, the students demand that they be dismissed from those positions.
They also demand the removal of the member of the City Council, Milije Koldžić, and the initiation of disciplinary proceedings against Aleksandar Jokić, the coordinator of the distribution area of Elektrodistribucija Belgrade.
The students also condemned the violence against citizens who demand responsibility "for the crime in Novi Sad", the arrest of activists and police torture.
It is also stated that violence against FDU students is not an isolated case, which is why FDU students called on other students to initiate blockades of their faculties.
