Special benefits for reprogramming are provided for beneficiaries of social benefits and pensioners
From November 1, 2023 to April 30, 2024, the City of Belgrade and the company "Infostan tehnologije" are implementing a debt reprogramming campaign for users of communal services, and citizens have the opportunity to settle debts due by August 31, 2023 in several monthly installments. with the write-off of the interest and reduction of the main debt up to 20 percent, it was announced today.
Debt reprogramming stops the calculation of interest and suspends the execution procedure, whereby special conditions and benefits are provided for all categories of users, and the debt reprogramming is carried out in accordance with the conclusion of the City Council of the City of Belgrade, according to Beoinfo.
Citizens who reschedule their debts can choose the number of monthly installments, with a reduction of the principal debt and write-off of the interest. One-time payment will write off 15 percent of the principal debt, 12 percent will be written off for payment in three installments, 10 percent will be written off for paying the debt in six installments, while five percent of the principal debt will be written off for payment in 12 installments.
Special benefits for reprogramming are provided for beneficiaries of social benefits and pensioners. Beneficiaries of social benefits can reschedule the debt for a maximum of 60 monthly installments, with interest write-off and a reduction of 20 percent of the principal debt.
For a debt of up to 30.000 dinars, payment is possible in 12 monthly installments, a debt of 24 to 30.000 dinars is rescheduled to 50.000 installments, a debt of 50.000 to 200.000 dinars is rescheduled to 48 installments, while for a debt greater than 200.000 dinars, payment is made possible in 60 installments. Pensioners are guaranteed debt payment in a maximum of 60 monthly installments, with interest write-off and a reduction of 20 percent of the principal debt.
The number of installments is regulated depending on the amount of the total debt, as well as the beneficiary of social benefits. Agreements on reprogramming can be signed from November 1, 2023 to April 30, 2024 in any of the 11 branches throughout Belgrade or in the building of the "Infostan" Directorate, it was stated in the announcement.
