They point out that the responsibility of members of the academic community includes "defending the public interest, respecting different positions and insisting on consistency and decency."
The participants of the conversation assessed that "responsibility for the continuation of the crisis does not lie with students and professors, but with those who refuse to respond to the basic and reasonable demands of students for months."
"Silence and ignoring fair appeals only deepen the crisis of confidence and distance us from the solution", it was emphasized in the announcement of the Rector's College.
The participants of the meeting expressed their willingness to continue the talks "in the spirit of open dialogue, solidarity and concern for the future of society."
