President of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo Ramush Haradinaj he accused the current Prime Minister of Kosovo Aljbina Kurti for espionage while he was employed in the Office of the Political Representative of the so-called Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA).
"He was a spy for the Serbs in that office," Haradinaj said in an interview with Kjlan Kosova, as reported by Kosovo Online.
Among other things, Haradinaj said that while working in that office, Kurti "gave" all the information in the evening to the daughter of the then Minister of the Interior of Serbia, Zoran Sokolović.
Haradinaj said that at the time it was thought that Kurti was in a relationship with Sokolović's daughter.
"He didn't dare take the gun"
In addition, Haradinaj pointed out that Kurti refused to fight during the war in Kosovo and the bombing of FR Yugoslavia in 1999.
"Kurti is a guy who didn't shoot a gun in the war, he didn't dare to pick up a gun," Haradinaj said.
Kurti was arrested in October 1997 for organizing student demonstrations in Pristina. When the security forces of the FR Yugoslavia withdrew from Kosovo and Metohija in June 1999, Kurti found himself among several hundred Albanian prisoners who were transferred to the territory of central Serbia.
He was transferred from the prison in Lipljan to Požarevac, and in March 2000 he was sentenced to 15 years in prison before the court in Niš for endangering the territorial integrity of the FRY and terrorism.
He was released from prison in Požarevac in 2001, after the fall of Slobodan Milošević and under pressure from part of the international community.
Haradinaj also assessed that Kurti created a joint criminal organization for corruption and that he created a comfortable and safe environment for "his property".
"Kurti experienced the victory in the elections as a victory over the law, that is, Self-determination over the law," said Haradinaj.
