Member of Parliament Kosova, Bedjet Pacoli, said on Wednesday for Kosovar Teve1 that, the day before Vjosa Osmani was elected president, he spoke with Milan Radoičić in the presence of the President and Prime Minister of Kosovo, Aljbina Kurti, writes KoSSev.
Pacoli claims that in the telephone conversation one deputy was recruited for his vote, which was practically achieved. The Presidency of Kosovo did not comment on Pacoli's statement, but the Government denied this.
Vjosa Osmani took office as the President of Kosovo after the session of the Kosovo Assembly held on April 4, 2021.
However, the day before the vote in the Assembly, as Pacoli claims, there was the recruitment of a member of the Serbian List, whose vote was decisive for Osmani to be elected president.
Bedzet Pacoli says that in the presence of Vjosa Osmani and Aljbin Kurti, he spoke on the phone with the then vice-president of the Serbian List, Milan Radoičić.
"I had a telephone conversation with Mr. Radoičić, the day before the presidential election, and the president and Prime Minister Aljbin Kurti know that, because the telephone conversation took place in their presence. It was such a call, I can't lie, it was looked at to find another deputy and that's where another vote was practically caught," Pacoli allegedly told Teve1.
Pacoli claims again in this statement that it is a telephone call about which Vjosa Osmani and Aljbin Kurti were informed, writes KoSSev.
The Kosovo Government denied Pacoli's claims
The spokesman of the Kosovo government, Perparim Krieziu, spoke up and said that this statement is not true. Aljbin Kurti's office also denied this statement.
Krieziu also claims that the whole story is "absolutely false", and that Pacoli did not speak with Radoicic in the presence of the Kosovo prime minister.
After Krieziu's alleged statement, Pacoli first called on this spokesperson to ask the Kosovo Prime Minister and President about it before making such "false statements".
"It is rude, as a spokesperson for the government, to spread falsehoods!" Please, before you make false statements, ask the Prime Minister and the President first. They will tell you that the invitation was sent at their request, in order to ensure the presence of an additional deputy."
He repeats that, as a result of that alleged phone call, the vote of one deputy was secured, saying who - Adem Hodža.
In the end, he says that the fact that he decided to disclose this was not done according to some scenario, but because, as he says, he was asked about it by a journalist.
"I could not back down, not to tell the truth!", said this deputy.
The Kusari Ljilja – Simić – Radoičić affair
To make matters even more complicated, Pacoli's claims come in the midst of the current case of alleged continuous communication between Mimoza Kusari Ljilja - Slavko Simić - Milan Radoičić, which is shaking the Kosovo public for the second time in this year.
In question are intercepted conversations, as well as correspondence, allegedly conducted mainly in 2022.
In the middle of July last year, the first affair of the alleged recorded conversations between former Srpska List MP Slavko Simić and the head of the parliamentary group Self-Determination came to the public.
Mimoza Kusari Ljija is the head of Kurti's parliamentary group, and because of the alleged negotiations with Srpska lista, she faced harsh criticism from the Kosovo opposition. Some claim that these two parties negotiated the adoption of the law in the Kosovo Assembly.
If the conversations are credible, they agreed to help each other, in several cases, at a time when Self-Determination publicly accuses Srpska Lista of crime and that it is under the influence of PDK, while Srpska Lista publicly represents the lack of communication with Self-Determination.
In three days, the well-known Kosovo journalist Berat Bužalja (Buxhala), i.e. the portal National, then he published three audio recordings of this conversation, on which you can hear gossip from other Albanian opposition parties, that Kusari and Simić allegedly discussed voting for the Law on KLA Veterans, "partnership", the vice-president of the Serbian List, who is wanted by the Pristina authorities, Milan I will work.
